I was hooked from page one and did not want to let it go!
The story was just magical. The love Grace and Sam have for each other cannot be fully expressed by words-which is okay, that's how they are with each other. Something about this book made me treat it delicately, as if the story would disappear if I was too harsh with the handling. I even read it slower than I usually do. Usually, if a book is getting super exciting towards the end I start reading faster, but I would not let myself do that with this one. I wanted to savor each and every moment!
I absolutely cannot wait to read the next two books in this series!
Storm Watching & the Happy Villain

Dad and I like to go outside and watch as storms start moving in. Sometimes it is scary as hell, but it's nice. We are the only ones in the family who do this. A few years ago we were standing at the backdoor waiting for one to move in. So the screen door is all that is between us and the fury of the storm. We could literally see it moving furiously across the kudzu field, up into our yard. We could feel the wind blowing. Then it slammed into the house and the screen. It was so powerful it actually knocked me back a little bit into him. If we were outside I prolly would have fell over. This was one of my favorite memories of storm watching with Dad. Mom looked at us like we were crazy, well, maybe we are. But still. It really was like the storm had a body and mind to it. It knew what it was doing.

There is this blog that I love reading If I Ran the Universe. Yeah, it is a library related blog, but it rocks! Earlier in the month, she posted some gorgeous pictures that she took of lightning on a dark night as a storm started rolling in. I fell in love with the pictures and turned my favorite into an icon. So...thanks Happy Villain for letting me use your picture! :)

Now, go read the entry, drool over the pics.
